At our studio, we teach you to align your body before each exercise, a critical aspect of Pilates which brings your joints and surrounding tissue into their natural “neutral” position before the start of an exercise. There is a natural, relaxed flow to the movements and a constant sense of lengthening away from your centre or core, which gives you longer, leaner limbs. All this will “re-educate” your body to move correctly and more efficiently and the joints to remain healthy, which will in turn eliminate and prevent stresses and strains of our increasingly sedentary lifestyles.
